Freedom of Speech.....GONE?!

This is a new law signed in secret by Obama in early March 2012, which makes it illegal and a felony to protest in his presence.  Regardless of where you stand politically, this is very scary!  Please watch this right to the end!!

The law means that wherever Obama is, you do not have a right to ask him anything you want to-free speech! His secret service can have you arrested, fined, and imprisoned for more than a YEAR. THIS IS HIS LATEST ATTEMPT TO STAGE A TAKE OVER OF AMERICA.

"Let Us Help You Pack"

In case you have not seen this, it's by a woman who lives on a small horse ranch in Western Colorado. She is married to a US Marine, her son, a US Marine, who survived Desert Storm & others, plus one USAF grandson, in her family tree, but evidently she is the only singer.

Reagan Vs. Obama - Social Economics 101

I have no idea who created this material, but imagine the amount of work, planning, researching, graphics etc., that went into this. So sad to watch this beautiful country come so far to only crumble before our eyes.

Obama Can Now Control Food, Energy, Health Resources… At Any Time

A friend sent this link to me this week. Sad to say, but I'm not really that surprised. God's word speaks of this and as God's believers, I feel He's been pressing this on our hearts for some time now. At least I can speak for myself and my family. We have this deep need and desire to "prepare" for the worse! All I know to do is pass this info on and pray.....God's in control!

Did you know that the federal government claims that it can take away your constitutional rights any time that it wants to?  Over the past several decades, there have been an endless parade of laws and executive orders that have been slowly and methodically carving up our rights under the U.S. Constitution.  Most Americans are not even aware of the “creeping totalitarianism” that is happening.  Most Americans just trust the “authorities” when they tell us that certain things “must be done” in order to keep us all safe.  But even if we gave up all of our privacy, even if we gave up all of our liberties and our freedoms, and even if we gave the government all of our stuff they still would not be able to keep us safe.  It is inevitable that evil people are going to do evil things, and if you are counting on the Obama administration to keep you safe then you are being delusional.  Obama is not going to save us from anything.  But Obama will gladly take away our rights and our freedoms if the American people allow him to.  The Obama administration seems to have an endless lust for more power.  Sadly, if we do give away our rights it will have some very serious consequences.

An executive order that Barack Obama signed the other day is making headlines all over the nation. The title of the executive order is “National Defense Resources Preparedness” and it is actually an update of a series of previous executive orders.

The original “National Defense Resources Preparedness” executive order (EO 8248) was issued back in 1939.  This latest version is very similar to EO 12919 that was signed by Bill Clinton in June 1994.  However, several very important changes have been made in this new version.
For example, in Section 201(b) the words “under both emergency and non-emergency conditions” have been added.

So now the federal government can take control of all food, all energy, all health resources, all transportation resources and “all other materials, services, and facilities” in the country even if the United States is not experiencing emergency conditions.

So the Obama administration did not really need to include a new excuse for taking control of everything.  The existing “state of emergency” would probably work just fine.
If Barack Obama woke up one day and decided to exercise the powers in this executive order, he would be able to do pretty much anything that he wanted.  This executive order would essentially allow Obama to declare a state of martial law in the United States even during a time when no emergency was happening.
Just check out what Section 201 of the executive order allows the federal government to take control of….
Sec. 201.  Priorities and Allocations Authorities.  (a)  The authority of the President conferred by section 101 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071, to require acceptance and priority performance of contracts or orders (other than contracts of employment) to promote the national defense over performance of any other contracts or orders, and to allocate materials, services, and facilities as deemed necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense, is delegated to the following agency heads:
(1)  the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to food resources, food resource facilities, livestock resources, veterinary resources, plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment and commercial fertilizer;
(2)  the Secretary of Energy with respect to all forms of energy;
(3)  the Secretary of Health and Human Services with respect to health resources;
(4)  the Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation;
(5)  the Secretary of Defense with respect to water resources; and
(6)  the Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials.

The Obama administration has continued to rage a “War on the Constitution”. But the media fails to report it. Share this story above to help spread the word.

The Brick

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.

As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that
brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why
did you do it?' The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop....' With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.'

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat... He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took
out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh
scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything
was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless
you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to
remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life
so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to
get your attention!' God whispers in our souls and
speaks to our hearts Sometimes when we don't have
time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

Thoughts through your days:

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring.

He sends you a sunrise every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Project Graduation 5K Seniors 2012

For those of you who have not heard of Project Graduation, it is an after graduation all night party held at the school to give our kids one last night together as a class but to do so in a safe but fun environment.  There are all-night games, activities, door prize drawings, meals, etc.  Many high schools across the state of Texas hold these for their graduating seniors, and it is the parents' responsibility to plan and raise money for this endeavor.  Recent Project Graduations cost in the range of $8,000 to $10,000 which included door prizes, food, and cash donations.

The Project Graduation 5K was a way for the Senior parents and Seniors to raise monies to go toward Project Graduation on May 30th. Plus if you signed up with a group of at least 10, you could get a discount of $2 per person. And all that signed up by the 5th of March received a cool t-shirt by Melanie; the owner of Spear-It Headquarters!

Rob's parents came, our best friends and their children joined our family this morning for the 5K, bright and early at 8am! We had an amazing time and got some exercise too! Thanks for supporting our Senior!!!

Our group of 14, the largest group at the 5K!

We are still excepting donations for the Project Graduation 2012 Seniors until May 30th, 2012. So if you're lead to help out for this great cause, thank you!!! No gift is too small or big!

Senior Prom and 18th Birthday....OH MY!

I've been meaning to sit down earlier this week to type this out but sometimes life doesn't work out how we want it to. It's been a crazy week; with kids being home sick, doctors appointments, giving medications at all hours of the day, sever thunderstorms and tornadoes in our area.

But there's been huge blessings in the mist of it all! Our oldest went to her Senior Prom on Saturday, then turned 18 on Monday! How times flies when your raising children!

Her daddy took her and dropped her off for a night full of fun and memories with her fellow classmates. Her prom went from 7pm-11pm and she looked like a "Royal Princess"!

Prom Princess
Her close up

I have to brag about this dress! We bought it last June at the Mall on the clearance rake. It was originally $200 but (because I'm SO AWESOME and cheap) we got it for a WHOPPING $30 dollars!!! But then of course you have to have all the nice accessories to go with the dress. Black Satin Shaw and gloves and matching earrings, cost just a little more than the dress. There were a couple of alterations that needed to be done and Rob's Aunt did those for us....what a blessing! Thanks Babs!

Then for her 18th birthday (still shocked) on Monday, we took her out to her favorite restaurant "Romano's Macaroni Grill". She's requested that restaurant the last three years....I would have to say she likes pasta! She wasn't feeling very well but I was able to get a picture!

Singing, Happy Birthday
Looking over the last 18 years of her life, it's been a blessing to watch her grow into the woman she is today. She loves God, has a great heart to serve Him, life, people, dancing, music, and food. So as we draw closer to her graduation next month, I count every blessing and everyday we have to watch her grow and bloom into the woman God created her to be. Happy 18th, baby girl! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH and ARE SUPER PROUD OF YOU!

Blessings and Love,
Hollie
